Brief: Belmont University is looking for a way to engage college students in activism and altruism in the community and to create easily accessible educational and volunteer opportunities.
Concept: An interactive billboard and app that allows students to choose issues they’re interested in. Students are passionate about making change, they just need the resources, and we can provide that. Passionate students + resources = a better world.
Design Choices: I chose the name Ripple because of the wide wake of change just one person can create. The design elements are focused around this rippling effect to enforce that idea. I wanted to keep the visual information very simple and uncluttered. I chose bold, fun colors as to avoid looking too corporate and appeal to the younger demographic.
